It was a rather turbulent year for American Football outfit Coventry Jets last campaign. After just avoiding relegation from the BAFA NFC 1 South, the club decided that a revamp of the team set-up was very much needed.
Former Head Coach Sean Martin took up the role of chairman with Sam Kendall taking over the hot-seat from predecessor Colin Branagh in February.
Speaking to Sport in Cov, Kendall admitted it felt “great and exciting” to be chosen as the Jets’ new Head Coach.
“Its a challenging and rewarding job, that is more than full time job than my actually job,” he explained.
The ex-firefighter is also very much in the mindset that change will not come overnight for the outfit.
